Manning Apologizes After AI Video Fallout | Texas Longhorns Football News

Cooper Manning, son of Archie and nephew of Peyton and Eli, sparked backlash after laughing at an AI-generated video falsely showing Texas coach Steve Sarkisian slapping ESPN’s Holly Rowe — a clip rooted in a real post-game moment where Sarkisian cut off her interview. He later issued a sincere apology to Rowe, praising her professionalism and vowing to be more mindful in future comments — a timely reminder for public figures about the power and speed of social media and AI in shaping perception.
