Manorhamilton MD Councillor seeks to establish how storm ready Leitrim is

of Leitrim County Council will look to establish what supports in place for the upcoming winter storm season. Independent Councillor James Gilmartin has tabled a motion looking to establish what assistance will be available to community hubs during storm events, and what progress has been made in acquiring mobile generators to support these hubs across the grater North Leitrim area. He says such information is essential to ensure communities are prepared, supported, and resilient during severe weather incidents.
