Mantashe starts testifying before Zondo Commission

from AM Live on SAfm · host SABC News and Current Affairs

SAfm — ANC national chairperson Gwede Mantashe has started testifying before the Commission of Inquiry into State Capture in Parktown, Johannesburg. This after GCIS head Mzwanele Manyi concluded his testimony by saying that his dismantling of the bid adjudication committee at government communication did not flout any regulations. Manyi previously testified that upon arriving at GCIS he found a "mini VBS" taking place. Manyi says all his changes were above board. He earlier requested that evidence leader advocate Vincent Maleka recuse himself saying he is biased against him. Meanwhile commission chairperson and Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo has warned against the intimidation of witnesses.
