First and foremost, go check out the Netflix documentary, "Untold: The Girlfriend who didn't exist"... it is really well done and provides background on this whole situation. Admittedly, when the whole fake girlfriend story broke, I dismissed Manti Te'o as someone who had questionable ethics and could not be trusted but that is really not the case. Take a listen, watch the documentary and make your own determination/conclusion on who this guy is and what he's all about. There is usually more to every stroy than meets the eye and this situation is a perfect example.
