Shawn Tyson is the youngest of 5 talented siblings born to the late Bishop James E. and Elect Lady Evelyn Tyson. Born and raised in the church, Pastor Tyson began matriculating in the ministry at a young age, being born again at the age of eight and preaching his first sermon at the age of eighteen. Pastor Tyson launched into full time ministry in 1990 traveling globally as an international evangelist. In July of 2010, Pastor Tyson assumed the call to pastor Calvary Ministries International in Youngstown OH, succeeding the late, Honorable Bishop Norman L. Wagner. In 2013, he also assumed pastorate of his home assembly, Christ Church Apostolic, where he currently serves as senior pastor. Pastor Tyson is an author, a committed husband, father, pastor, mentor and friend.
