Formé au piano puis aux percussions classiques au Conservatoire, Manu Katché n'imaginait pas qu'il ferait  plusieurs fois le tour du globe derrière une batterie pour accompagner une foule d’artistes sur scène et/ou sur disque, de Michel Jonasz à Peter Gabriel en passant par Simple Minds, Joni Mitchell, Francis Cabrel, Alain Souchon, Tears for Fears, Sting, Jean-Jacques Goldman, les Bee Gees, Catherine Lara, Laurent Voulzy, Youssou N’dour, Michel Petrucciani, et bien d’autres…Infatigable et passionné, il a aussi proposé une dizaine d’albums solo et deux livres autour de son métier dont "#beat"  paru en 2024.
