Manx Newscast: Motiv8 to host friends and family workshop

On 28 November Manx addiction charity Motiv8 will be hosting a one-day workshop for friends and family of people on the Island with substance dependency.Part of the SMART Recovery programme, it works to support those impacted by someone else's relationship with drugs and/ or alcohol.It's thought around one in four of us on the Isle of Man have such a connection.The workshop will give people the opportunity to meet with others in the same situation and give them some new ways of coping, skills and self care techniques.Tiffany Crookall, a councillor with the charity, has been speaking to Lewis Foster.
