Many Gifts, One Source and Purpose
from Good Works on SermonAudio Hosted by Aaron Lira
Sermon Idea: The variety of spiritual gifts from the Triune God reveals the Spirit's work for the common good of the Church. Fallen Condition Focus: Paul continues from his introduction to the Spiritual Gifts in our passage highlighting the source of these gifts in who God is and what God is doing among His people. Far too often, we use our spiritual gifts as a springboard for our pride. Paul's hope is to humble us and point to who we must rely on, if we are to steward such gifts faithfully. Moreover, Paul also gives us a generic list of spiritual gifts, intending to highlight their purpose and aim in the life of the Church!
