Andrea Hollandt Born in Northern Germany, always enjoyed outdoor activities. Moved to the US in 1989 to study economics at UC Berkeley. Lived in California and in Japan and moved to New York in 1994. Joined the New York Road Runners Club in 1998. Coached runners between the ages of 5 and 95. Ran 14 marathons, 10 in New York, 2 in Boston, one in Medoc and one in Berlin, over 200 shorter races and one triathlon. Gave up competitive running after starting a job in Tarrytown in 2012. Now, I’m walking and playing the piano and the violin.
