Marcel Ardans (Lessons With Marcel) Interview
from Bluegrass Jam Along
My guest on the podcast today is Marcel Ardans, who most of you will know through his site and YouTube channel Lessons With Marcel (if you don't know those, check out the links below!) We chat about learning to play, how both of us came to love bluegrass despite not being raised with it and how all musicians are on the same journey (and all fall flat on our faces sometimes!). It was a lot of fun to record and hopefully will be a lot of fun to listen to! You'll find more on Marcel and his huge catalogue of online guitar and mandolin content here: Lessons with Marcel website Lessons With Marcel YouTube channel Stuff we mention in the chat: Marcel's crosspicking video Tony Rice's 'I've Waited as Long As I Can' (Matt's favourite bluegrass guitar break) Tony Rice's 'Shadows' (Marcel's favourite) Support the show === Thanks to Bryan Sutton for his wonderful theme tune to Bluegrass Jam Along (and to Justin Moses for playing the fiddle!)
