MARCH 17 - The Right Path3-Year-Bible Reading: Proverbs 12:15; Psalms 33; Genesis 26//3-Year Bible (Year 1) Devotional Book Available on Amazon//________________________________________“The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice.” — Proverbs 12:15“The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations.” — Psalm 33:11“And Isaac dug again the wells of water that had been dug in the days of Abraham his father... and he called their names as the names that his father had called them.” — Genesis 26:18________________________________________We all have decisions to make. Whether it's figuring out how to handle a tough situation with friends, making choices about school, or navigating the ups and downs of life, we’re often faced with a big question: "What should I do?" The good news is that you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. God offers wisdom and direction that can help guide you along the right path. Sometimes, it's a matter of listening and trusting that His way is better than our own.In Proverbs 12:15, we are reminded that it’s easy to think we know what’s best for ourselves, but true wisdom comes when we listen to godly advice and guidance. In Psalm 33, we see that God’s plans last forever—His counsel is unshakable, and His direction is always trustworthy. Just like Isaac in Genesis 26, who dug the wells his father had dug before him, we can find strength and guidance by going back to what God has already shown us in His Word. When we face challenges, it’s important to stop and ask, "Am I trusting God to lead me, or am I trying to figure this out on my own?" Trusting in God’s wisdom will help you walk the path He’s designed for you, and He’ll guide you every step of the way.________________________________________THINK ABOUT IT1. What voices are you listening to? Are you relying on your own understanding, or do you seek advice from others who are rooted in faith and God’s wisdom? 2. God's plans are eternal: Even when things don’t make sense or seem hard, remember that God’s plan for you is good and will stand forever. How can you trust that He knows the best way for your life? 3. Are you digging your own wells? Isaac returned to the wells his father had dug. In the same way, God wants you to dig into His Word and hold onto what He has already revealed to you. Are you staying grounded in His truth?________________________________________BOTTOM LINETrue wisdom comes from listening to God and trusting His plans. Don't go through life alone—God’s guidance will lead you in the right direction if you choose to follow it.________________________________________PRAYERHeavenly Father, thank You for Your wisdom and guidance in my life. Help me to listen to Your voice and trust Your plans for me. When I face decisions, remind me to turn to You first, and to follow the path You have laid out for me. Thank You for always being faithful. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
