Christopher Yuan’s testimony is a powerful story of transformation, redemption, and God’s unwavering grace. Born into a Chinese-American family, Christopher pursued success but also lived in rebellion, embracing a promiscuous lifestyle and drug dealing, which ultimately led to his arrest. Meanwhile, his mother, devastated by his choices and struggles with same-sex attraction, turned to Christ, praying fervently for his salvation. Even as Christopher rejected their love, his parents persisted in their faith, fasting and interceding for him. In prison, he encountered God through a discarded Gideon’s Bible and was convicted of his sin. Wrestling with Scripture, he realized that his identity was not in his sexuality but in Christ alone. Embracing a life of holiness over worldly desires, he surrendered to God’s plan, which led him into ministry. His testimony serves as a call for parents, grandparents, and churches to stand firm in teaching biblical truth, discipling the next generation, and trusting in God’s faithfulness to redeem even the most prodigal of hearts.
