Susan Russell Hall is a painter and medical illustrator who has documented more than 6,500 surgeries from life in the operating room. Hall’s medical drawings have been published in more than thirty books and journals and have been used in professional and educational presentations internationally. Her encaustic paintings have been exhibited in more than sixty solo or group shows. Hall was one of forty artists selected to be included in the seventh International Biennial Exhibition, Encaustic Works 2009 in New York.
