Imagine wanting something badly—like popularity, power, or quick success—but finding that the path to it leads to danger or heartbreak. That’s what we see in Judges 9, where Abimelek chooses selfish ambition over what is right, causing destruction and pain. On the other hand, Proverbs 12 reminds us that diligence and righteousness lead to lasting life, not just temporary gain. Even in moments of doubt or struggle, like Gideon in Judges 8, God’s presence can guide you to make wise choices and avoid the trap of shortcuts or harmful decisions.Making the right choice isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it. The right path may require patience, effort, and sometimes standing alone, but it leads to life, protection, and God’s blessing.________________________________________THINK ABOUT IT1.
