But Proverbs 11:22 makes it clear that beauty without wisdom is like putting expensive jewelry on a pig—it doesn’t change what’s underneath. Real value comes from character. In Genesis 4, Cain's story reminds us that when jealousy and anger take over our hearts, it leads to destructive choices. Meanwhile, Psalm 25 gives us a better way: asking God to lead us and teach us how to live.
