After surging late in conference play, the Texas Longhorns closed out the regular season with a bit of a whimper, falling to the Oklahoma State Cowboys at home. The loss sets up a win and you're in game against the Texas Tech Red Raiders in the Big 12 tournament this week. What do we expect from Texas when they tip against the Red Raiders? On the diamond, the Longhorns came away with their third weekend sweep of the season after topping the Cal State Fullerton Titans at home. After a disappointing season a year ago, it seems like the pitching and the hitting are on the same page, giving Texas the opportunity to put together winning performances.
