March Lead SA Youth Hero

Avantika is a pupil at Rustenberg Girls' High School. This year, she selflessly decided to ask friends and family to donate money or sanitary towels instead of buying her birthday presents. She then went further and contacted Subz Padz, an organisation that created washable, sustainable sanitary pads and panties which she then purchased and, along with the collected one-use pads, donated to St George's Home for Girls in Wynberg.
