Click here to learn more about ISCG.Personal Reflections Looking back at ISCG 2022 and a most consequential yearOur Mojo was back from the pandemic. We were happy and filled with positivity. We all flew back to Fort Lauderdale to reconnect with our colleagues once again. Boy it was fun. So cool to feel normal again. Our European and Latin and Asian friends were back!Here’s a little background on the Big Secret I was about to reveal at ISCG 2022 and the huge reason I rented some floor space and brought my daughter, Samantha Nicoletti, to the Congress. I spent the pandemic years os 2020 and 2021 collecting and organizing the surgical videos I had collected for almost 20 years. Over 100 Terabytes of photos and videos. I spent an enormous amount of time and energy editing and organizing my content and finally launched AIAVS Online (Alinsod Institute for Aesthetic Vulvovaginal Surgery), my dedicated online content to teach Cosmetic Gynecology. My daughter Samantha, and later on my son Dillon, were very instrumental in helping me edit my first batches of videos. They both became Masters at videography and editing. My wife Robyn encouraged me greatly to push on and focus on this new venture. She saw it as something I loved and exceptionally OCD about! My mom had just passed in September of 2019 and my way of coping was to dive into a project to help my grief. Mom would be very proud of what happens next.AIAVS Online was separate and apart from my onsite teaching program given by my South Coast Urogynecology Corporation. Those who wanted to be Alinsod Fellows had to travel to Laguna Beach, California, and train with me side by side. I had so many International doctors begging me to come to train in their countries or create a separate online course. Hence the creation of AIAVS Online. I had to announce it to the world so off to ISCG 2022 Fort Lauderdale Samantha and I went.Samantha had created beautiful pull-up stands advertising my new venture that highlighted my Modules that ranged from Labiaplasty, Vaginoplasty, to Gynecologic Photography. We had tons of interest. It was a bit pricey to help pay for my huge monetary investments of hardware, software, hosting. We chose Vimeo as our core. Just storing the organized videos cost me $36,000/year for starters. This turned out to be the precursor of Gynflix, released on later on in the year October 2022, the same time I sold my Laguna Beach practice. I wanted to create THE Netflix of Gynecology video service that anyone in the world interested in Cosmetic Gynecology could access. So I brainstormed with Samantha to upgrade AIAVS Online. I wanted it to be more affordable and with the highest quality videos possible for a wider audience. 4K quality for most videos and HD at the least. All narrated and explained by me with live descriptions or dedicated voiceovers. We worked with my magnificent Webmaster, Suzette Peterson, and her daughter Sarah, night and day for months to launch Gynflix. Total Team Effort!!! Now www.gynflix.com is the World Leader in Online Cosmetic Gynecology e-Learning watched in over 50 countries and in all 50 states. It hosts over 300 videos on surgical and non-surgical Cosmetic Gynecology. I sold my Laguna Beach practice and my onsite teaching program but kept AIAVS Online and Gynflix. I was off to my new home and new practice in Dallas, Texas. A new start that built on my 30+ years of California practice. ISCG 2022: The Event!Hope you enjoyed that journey back in time to 2022!
