Marco Schoonwinkel - Motsomi Safaris

Marco Schoonwinkel was born and raised in South Africa, a land full of wildlife and a diverse culture that depends on tourism to support its economy. Recently, at the Houston Safari Club Expo I got to meet Marco and we sat down to record this episode. I've never been to Africa, so this was a great opportunity to learn more about what to expect when going on a safari for the first time, discuss the common misperceptions of people about hunting there and how emotion plays such a powerful, yet misinformed role in what people think about Africa as a whole.
