Margaret McKillop Joins Aontú | Belfast News

Margaret Anne McKillop, a seasoned councillor with deep roots in Northern Irish politics, has officially joined Aontú after leaving the SDLP over their abortion stance. Having served as an independent for a year and previously represented Sinn Féin and the SDLP, McKillop is drawn to Aontú’s pro-life, family-focused platform and its willingness to speak plainly. At an Aontú ‘Think-In’, Deputy Leader Gemma Brolly hailed McKillop as a principled voice and used the moment to slam Stormont’s dysfunction, while also framing Irish unity as a practical, common-sense solution. Her move signals a major boost for Aontú ahead of the next election. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
