Mari | Finding Community that Feels the Same Way

from Banquet Hall Podcast Hosted by Kyler Nathan IV

BRING IN THE DANCING LOBSTERS because the Banquet Hall is back with another banger. We are joined by Mari, a current law student at Georgetown who is doing incredible work in the community toward prison abolishment. Mari & Kyler go back a decade, back to when Mari was an intern at UCSD's Women Center, and Kyler at the Black Resource Center. Their conversation spans the intricacies of law school during election times (especially this most recent one), finding community that cares the way you do, as well as their confidence in their respective abilities to execute "the worm" successfully. Learn more about Mari's activism work by following her organization, The Abolition Advocacy Project, on Instagram @abolitionadvocacy
