Maria Failla: Finding Our Alignment "Off the Path"

from Fiercely Human

Maria is a "plant lady by day and a cat lady by night" as she travels with the National Tour of Cats the Musical and is also the Founder and Host of the very popular Bloom and Grow Radio Podcast and Youtube Show. As a professional singer she was in the Broadway Company of Cats the Musical (Broadway Revival) and toured nationally and internationally with West Side Story, Evita and The Sound of Music. She developed her passion for houseplant care while in Cats on Broadway. With Bloom and Grow Radio, Maria is a self-proclaimed "Plant Killer turned Plant Lady" on a mission to help every person successfully care for houseplants- no matter how small their home is. She believes if you can learn the empathy and kindness required to care for plants, you'll bring those skills into the world and make it a kinder and greener place. Beth Clayton (your host) is a soul-based life and health coach and loves to help open-hearted people break free from their own self-sabotage, outdated thought patterns, and past pain so they can deepen their relationship with their own soul's intuition, speak their truth courageously and fulfill their most authentic desires. She is the creator of multiple group programs, retreats, and transformational workshops, leading hundreds of truth-seekers toward finding freedom and ease in their relationship with food, their bodies, their lives and ultimately, themselves. In this episode, Beth and Maria: ● Maria's synchronistic journey from unemployed actor to Broadway debut an unexpected path toward a booming podcast and the birth of a new dream. ● How Maria's relationship with her body has transformed throughout her performing career and how that has impacted the success she has found in many areas of her life. ● The role that manifestation and visualization has played in Maria's synchronistic journey. ● The importance of alignment before action as we take our next "right" step. ● How Maria is super intentional about staying in a state of "flow" instead of "forcing," even as she handles a super busy touring, performing and recording schedule. ● The importance of surrender and letting go of our attachments to the ways things are supposed to go. ● Why authenticity and vulnerability aren't always what we think they are. ● Why self-care is so much deeper than baths, wine, and mani-pedis and can often be difficult and challenging work. Alice Isn't Dead Night Vale Presents A truck driver searches across America for the wife she had long assumed was dead. In the course of her search, she will encounter not-quite-human serial murderers, towns literally lost in time, and a conspiracy that goes way beyond one missing woman. Anatomy of Next Founders Fund In the second season of Anatomy of Next, explore every aspect of going to Mars, transforming it into a habitable world, and building a new branch of human civilization. How do we bring a cold, dead planet back to life? Can we build an atmosphere on Mars, thaw the frozen plains, and build an ocean? How do we seed a barren land with life, and make a red Mars green? Then, it’s everything from politics and education to money, music, and architecture. What does it mean to be human on an alien world? My Wakeup Call with Dr. Mark Goulston Mark Goulston I'm Dr. Mark Goulston, and this is My Wakeup Call. Everybody has personal wakeup calls, but not everybody wakes up. In this podcast, we speak to people who did. In fact, they not only woke up, but their wakeup calls changed their lives, often helped them discover their purpose and then changed how they would spend the rest of their life. In most cases, the wakeup call was not pleasant, sought-after, and often shook people to the core of their being. But in every case, it made our guests more authentic, better at life, better in life and better human beings. I hope you will listen in and become as inspired as I am from every episode. I also hope it will help you persevere if you are going through a wakeup call and haven't yet gotten through the pain of it, or landed in your future as the better person you're meant to be, with the better life that you're meant to have.DISCLAIMER: Any information or advice I give is purely based on my own experience.
