Marianne Moore - Observations

Today, from a mystery location, I read three Moore poems: To Be Liked by You Would Be a Calamity, Poetry, and Nothing Will Cure the Sick Lion but to Eat an Ape. And I dichotomously want to do nothing but talk and be very very very quiet. I’m gentle though. I’m dying; I’m writing it down. Calm.
