Podcaste #MariborIsTheFuture v sezoni 2018/2019 začenjamo satirikonsko naivno, studijsko improvizirano in gledališko razposajeno. Ob začetku sezone IntimnegaOdra.GT22 smo namreč v studio radia YoureUp povabili ustvarjalca prve premierne predstave Satirikonijada - režiserko Tjašo Črnigoj in igralca Roka Kravanjo. Petronijev Satirikon je nekakšen antični praroman, ki naj bi nastal v Neronovem času (1. stoletje našega štetja) in je ohranjen zgolj v fragmentih. Gre za potovanje skozi najnižje plasti družbe neronovskega Rima; skozi resničnost, ki je kaotična, iluzorična in razpršena; resničnost, v kateri največ veljajo denar, videz in moč. Protagonist Satirikona, Enkolpij, se v satirikonski resničnosti ne znajde. Četudi ni popolnoma »nepokvarjen«, ga zaznamujejo izrazite »donkihotske« poteze in neka temeljna naivnost: ne glede na to, kaj se mu zgodi, kar naprej fantazira o tem, da je junak mita, epa, romance. Tako je vsakič znova razočaran, ponižan ter prizadet; pogosto je seksualno napaden. Ne zmore pripadati razpršeni satirikonski resničnosti in je pogosto njena žrtev. Kljub temu pa je Enkolpijevo potovanje ubesedeno skozi razposajen, prerajajoč, osvobajajoč smeh. Froma I. Zeitlin v tem prepoznava specifičen pogled Petronijevega romana na tedanjo družbeno stvarnost in človeka v njej. Zdi se, da je v Satirikonu pripoznana neka absurdnost enkolpijevske eksistence in da Petronij k njej pristopa z naklonjenostjo ter se ji zavezuje kot nečemu, kar je temeljno človeškega. Satirikonijada je nekakšen iniciacijski karneval za vse Enkolpije tega sveta, praznovanje za vse manj iznajdljive, zabava za manj priljubljene, na kateri igralci, performerji, umetniki po motivih Satirikona uprizarjajo miljeje satirikonske resničnosti, ki jim nikdar niso zmogli pripadati. Satirikonijada je potovanje v temine lastne nemoči in je potovanje skozi lastno nezmožnost pripadanja. Da bi na meji med anarhijo in umetniško integriteto, na meji med soigro in protiigro, na meji med telesom, ki je napadalno in telesom, ki je žrtvovano – našli neko vrzel, neko dno, nek prostor, v katerem bi zmogli razumeti, sprejeti in proslaviti svoje lastne enkolpijevske poteze ter se jim zavezati kot nečemu, kar morda ne pripada satirikonski resničnosti, a pripada temeljno človeškemu!
