Show notes: In 2015, I decided to quit my 9-5 job to pursue my coaching "hobby" as a full-time career-- this is when I discovered Marie Forleo. Her first time hearing about Life Coaching as a career (y'all remember, this is the early 90s) A few of the biggest issues she saw in the marketing world that she wanted to change. Marie Forleo went from career to career and it helped her get further in life, not behind, though she felt shame about it at the time. Marie had SIDE GIGS for seven years as she was building her business. Why trust in yourself + trust in something larger is so important when building your business.
