Marine Veteran Arrested at Trump Golf Course | US News

A decorated Marine Corps veteran, who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, was arrested at a Trump golf course with a loaded gun, ammo, binoculars, and a fake badge—while wearing an earpiece and snapping photos before a major GOP event. Now facing felony charges including illegal firearm possession and concealed carry, he’s been held without bail as a judge pauses proceedings pending a psychiatric evaluation. His bizarre behavior—including accusing an employee of spying with smart glasses, stealing them, and muttering to himself—adds layers to the case. Appearing in court in a suicide-prevention vest with family by his side, the veteran’s mental health may play a key role in his defense. As political tensions simmer and concerns about violence rise, this high-profile case underscores the fragile intersection of patriotism, mental illness, and justice.
