Cole Youngs Clutch Hits Spark Mariners Thrilling Win Over Twins In a nail-biting game, the Seattle Mariners emerged victorious with a five-to-three win against the Minnesota Twins. Rookie Cole Young shone, hitting a go-ahead two-run single in the ninth and a tying double in the seventh, contributing three RBIs in total. Youngs recent performance has been impressive, with a .830 batting average and ten RBIs in his last thirteen games. Mariners closer Andrés Muñoz secured the win with a perfect ninth inning, earning his sixth save in seven attempts. The win propelled the Mariners to a .500 record, their first since April third. The Twins, on the other hand, struggled, hitting just three for twenty-two with runners in scoring position in the series. Despite Victor Caratinis pinch-hit single in the eighth, their bullpen faltered, leading to their second loss in a row. Taj Bradley pitched well for the Twins, going seven innings with seven strikeouts, but the Mariners George Kirby and J.P. Crawford kept the game close. Crawford even added a homer, showcasing the Mariners growing momentum. Support the show: Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
