from Plant Your Seed · host Fred Ferris

Mario Buccellati is a plant-based chef and owner of Mariolinos Vegan Italian Kitchen in New York City. He has worked in all facets of the industry from food festivals and food trucks to some of the best vegan restaurants in New York City. He has also curated 30 of his own 4-course pop-up dinner events. Mario traveled Europe to develop his knowledge on the plant-based scene. Stopping in Italy, Athens, and London, he met with restaurants and chefs to learn techniques and the imagination behind the food they had to offer. During his stay in Tuscany, he also received a diploma at the macrobiotic & plant-based school, Gioia di Vivere. When the pandemic started, Mario decided to take his small vegan Italian kitchen and change it into a delivery service to help bring food and joy into people's homes.
