Mario Run also had 4.7 million on day 1, so this isn’t necessarily indicative of long-term success, but it certainly does point in its general direction. Furthermore, Mario Run had 200k downloads on the same day, which is a 36% increase, meaning it’s having a positive impact outside of just Mario kart Tour. Also - Daniel Ahmad mentioned that Google Play shows 10m for that platform alone, so it’s probably actually closer to 20 mil. Otherwise - thoughts on the game? ------------------------------------------- Headline: Mario Kart Wheel controller announced for Switch Source: https://nintendoeverything.com/mario-kart-racing-wheel-for-switch-announced/ Summary: “HORI has announced a new Mario Kart Racing Wheel accessory for Switch. It will come in two versions: a standard release and a more expensive DX version. This new accessory works with both the Switch and PC. Functions from the Switch controller have been migrated over to the new device, and even comes with a foot pedal. While it only works in docked mode, it’s compatible with other modes and the Switch Lite through an extra USB accessory. With the hold button, you can have an item held behind you. Players can choose to assign the different buttons as they please as well. There’s also “deadzone adjustment” and “reality adjustment” with seven different levels for adjusting turning radius so you can set it to your liking. The DX edition throws in suction cups and clamps.” ------------------------------------------- Headline: Is the Switch Lite Drifting? Source: uhh… the internet? Summary: Some reports have come out about drift on the Switch Lite already. Thoughts on all of that? Also - it sold 177k in Japan last week. ------------------------------------------- Headline: Dragon Quest 11 is a Remake - For Satoru Iwata? Source: https://nintendoeverything.com/dragon-quest-xi-s-devs-say-theyve-delivered-on-their-promise-to-satoru-iwata-to-bring-the-game-to-switch/ Summary: “Dragon Quest XI S is finally launching on Switch tomorrow. It’s been a long time coming, as we’ve known about the game ever since the console was given its NX code name. There weren’t too many that knew what the Switch actually was at the time – including some of the top developers at Square Enix. ------------------------------------------- Headline: Hero Banned in France in Smash Source: https://nintendoeverything.com/nintendo-france-bans-hero-and-future-dlc-characters-from-official-smash-bros-ultimate-tournaments/ AJ's last video: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...
