A cozy cloud adventure bedtime story.A Cloudy ProblemUp in the gentle sky world, soft white clouds floated all around. Yoshi was in his cozy, fluffy nest, made of cotton. Oh dear! His favorite red and green striped blankie was gone. Yoshi hugged a tiny piece left, his big eyes looking sad. "[whimpers] Oh, my blankie!" he whimpered. The gentle wind blew it away, high up on a bouncy cloud. Mario, the determined plumber, saw Yoshi's sad face. Mario knew he had to help his friend.The Big Bounce PlanMario had an idea! He saw a big, springy cloud nearby. "Boing!" he thought. If he bounced super high, maybe he could reach Yoshi's blankie. "[calm] Yoshi, close your eyes tight," Mario said gently. "[calm] Mario will get your blankie back." Yoshi, still holding his tiny blankie piece, covered his big eyes with his small hands. Mario took a deep breath. He ran, ran, ran to the bouncy cloud. Zoom! He stepped onto it. The cloud squished down, down, down. Then, B-O-I-N-G! Mario bounced way up!Puffy's Gentle Helping HandMario flew through the airy sky! He reached out his hand, but the blankie was too far. "[frustrated] Oh no!" he thought. Just then, a big, friendly cloud floated closer. It was Puffy! Puffy had soft rosy cheeks and tiny arms. "[calm] Need a hand, Mario?" Puffy rumbled gently. Puffy stretched out a soft, fluffy arm. Mario reached out too. Together, their hands touched the floating blankie, just enough to bring it closer. Mario grabbed it tight!A Cozy ReunionDown, down, down Mario floated, holding the soft, red and green striped blankie. He landed softly next to Yoshi's nest. "[cheerfully] You can look now, Yoshi!" Mario smiled. Yoshi slowly opened his eyes. His big, sad eyes grew wide with joy! "[excited] My blankie!" Yoshi chirped happily. He hugged the whole blankie tight, burying his face in its familiar softness. Mario patted Yoshi's head gently. The sunset painted the clouds in sleepy purples and blues.
