Maritza Bond

Maritza Bond, MPH, is a proven executive leader with a two-decade track-record in the public sector, serving in urban and rural communities in Connecticut. Maritza currently serves as the Director of Health for the City of New Haven, where she leads the department's efforts to create a culture of health and wellness, focusing on addressing social determinants of health and health equity. She manages an annual budget of approximately $20 million and supervises a workforce of hundreds of employees.
