This Sunday, we began a new sermon series through the Gospel of Mark, returning our attention to Jesus and the arrival of God’s kingdom.For generations, God prepared the way for His promised kingdom. Then Jesus appeared: the beloved Son, the faithful King, and the Savior who stands with sinners. In Mark 1, Jesus announces that the kingdom of God is at hand and calls ordinary fishermen to leave everything, follow Him, and become fishers of men.The King has come, so none of us can remain neutral. Repent and believe the gospel. Confess your sins and be baptized. Follow Jesus, and call others to follow Him.
