Mark 1:12-13 “Tested in the Wilderness“

Pastor Lowell looks at Mark 1:12-13 “Tested in the Wilderness“ on 7/13/2025 for our Sunday Service. Mark 1:12 -13 12 Immediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness.13 He was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to Him. Mark has used the three witnesses. 1) Prophecy: The scripture. The validation of the Past. 2) John the Baptist: The Messenger. The validation of the Present. 3) The Trinity. The validation of all future ministry of Jesus to prove the veracity and authority of what Mark declared in Mark 1:1 the invitation to the Gospel ( The Good News) of Jesus Christ the son of God. After the identity and saving ministry of Jesus is stated and validated by the three witnesses, immediately, His identity and ministry is tested by Satan in the wilderness for forty days.
