Mark 1:12-15 Jesus is tempted! Understanding Temptations in our Faith

Send us Fan MailToday’s Gospel from Mark just simply says Jesus experienced temptations.  We have to look at the Gospels of Matthew and Luke to learn just what those temptations were.  I considered focusing this podcast on those specific temptations.   Upon further reflections I realized it might be a good idea to look at temptations in general first.  The first thing I want to draw your attention to is it is not sinful to experience temptations.  Even Jesus experienced temptations!  How then are we to deal with temptations in our lives?  Mark doesn’t give us much of a clue on how Jesus specifically dealt with those temptations.  Fortunately, the behavioral sciences and other Scripture passages gives direction on how to respond to temptations.Complete our 1 Minute Survey
