What does it actually look like when the kingdom of God arrives?In Mark 1:21-45, Jesus speaks with an authority no voice can match, exercises a power no affliction can withstand, pursues a mission no crowd can control, and gives a cleansing no priest can produce.The kingdom of God does not always advance in the ways we expect. It often looks weak, ordinary, and unimpressive. But Jesus is the Holy One of God, and everywhere He goes, the enemies of His kingdom begin to retreat.Christ is King. His kingdom is advancing. So listen to His voice, bring your affliction to Him, come to Him for cleansing, and faithfully follow His mission.
