How many of you have ever eaten something that didn’t taste very good? What did you do to make the food taste better? Did you put any salt on the food?Improving the taste of food is one of many uses for salt. Salt is used to keep dyes from washing out so our clothes will always look nice. Salt is also used to make leather, and without it we would not have things such as leather belts.
