Mark Chapters 9-10

In this episode, we read Mark chapters 9 and 10, where Jesus continues to reveal both His divine glory and the true cost of discipleship. The chapter begins with the Transfiguration, where Jesus’ divine nature is revealed to Peter, James, and John, strengthening their understanding of who He truly is. As the journey continues, Jesus teaches about humility, faith, service, and the importance of removing anything that leads us away from God. He also addresses topics such as marriage, welcoming children, and the challenge of letting go of worldly wealth, highlighted by the encounter with the rich young ruler. Mark 9–10 reminds us that following Jesus requires humility, sacrifice, and a willingness to place God above everything else, trusting that true greatness in God’s kingdom is found in serving others.
