Mark Larson – MN Aiki Shuren Dojo – Ep216

from Everyday Martial Artist

Mark Larson’s martial arts journey is one of passion, perseverance, and global impact. From excelling in high-level athletics—playing ice hockey in both the USHL and NCAA—to immersing himself in the world of martial arts, Mark’s path has been anything but ordinary. He began with Wing Chun and Goju-ryu karate before finding his true calling in Aikido. His dedication took him all the way to Japan, where he trained under the legendary Morihiro Saito Shihan. Through years of rigorous training, he earned the esteemed menkyokaiden, the highest license in both Aiki-ken and Aiki-jo. Now a 7th-degree black belt and internationally respected instructor, Mark has shared his knowledge with students around the world—from elite athletes to military personnel. He is the founder and head instructor of the Minnesota Aiki Shuren Dojo. Join me in welcoming the inspiring Mark Larson to the show!
