from Filled Quiver Outdoors

Mark Long of FCA Endurance is my guest for episode 14 of the Filled Quiver Outdoors podcast. Endurance athletics isn’t a topic you’d expect to fit into the stereotype of an “outdoors” show like this one, but where do most endurance events happen? Outdoors. Maybe that’s pushing it or oversimplifying matters, but also falling under the umbrella of endurance athletics you find mountain biking, trail running, ultramarathon, open water swimming events, etc. FCA Endurance is an adult-focused arm of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and while on the surface it appears to be mostly triathletes and runners it’s open to, and includes, athletes from a wide array of endurance disciplines. Because of this, and because I’m a curious person, I created a very informal survey which anyone can take to see what other stereotypically outdoors activities endurance athletes enjoy participating in. If you want, you can still fill out that survey here. It will be available until jotforms closes it down or the maximum number of responses is received. I’ll update the results on our website periodically as I receive new results. As mentioned in the episode, new Filled Quiver Outdoors merchandise is coming soon. For a preview of the designs check out our Instagram or Facebook accounts.
