Before working in news TV, Mark Maxwell worked at Comcast Sportsnet Chicago. Eventually he became Capitol Bureau Chief at WCIA-TV in Springfield, Illinois, and now covers Illinois and Missouri politics for KSDK-TV in St. Louis.
