Mark McKinnon on The Circus, The DC Circus, and What’s Coming

Mark McKinnon is the co-creator, co-executive producer, and co-host of Showtime's The Circus: Inside the Greatest Political Show on Earth .He is of course a legendary political advisor, reform advocate, media columnist, andtelevision producer. In his free time, he skis and mountain bikes wherever his travelsfind him leading to busting his head at least once or twice that I know of.I had the privilege to have Mark as an instructor at Harvard’s Kennedy School in thespring of 2006 as an Army officer heading to the Pentagon and wanting to understandpolitical communications. Boy did I learn a lot. We’ve stayed in touch over the yearsgood fortune to connect with Mark just a month ago when The Circus made its way tonorthwest Georgia to document the weird world of Marjorie Taylor Greene and myfriend, her challenger, Marcus Flowers.
