Mark Mitchell Returns to Missouri | Missouri Tigers Basketball News

Mark Mitchell is back for one more season with Missouri basketball, thanks to a recent court ruling granting players an extra year of eligibility. After briefly exploring Kentucky, Mitchell has opted to return to the Tigers, bringing his elite scoring punch — averaging 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists last season — and deadly three-point shooting. His return bolsters a loaded roster that already includes Trent Pierce, Toni Bryant, Jamier Jones, and rising freshman guard Jason Crowe Jr., who could be a lottery pick. With Mitchell’s veteran leadership and firepower, Missouri is poised to make a serious NCAA Tournament run in 2026-27.
