Mark Perkins Elevates Villanova | Big East Basketball News

Mark Perkins is Villanova’s rising senior guard, turning heads with a breakout sophomore season and an even bigger leap last year—averaging 13.7 points and top-12 efficiency in the Big East. After shoulder surgery, he’s cleared for full action and ready to anchor the team’s new strength-focused roster. Sliding into his natural shooting guard role, Perkins brings elite versatility: dominating smaller guards offensively, locking down quicker players defensively, and hauling in over five rebounds per game. With All-Big East Third Team honors already under his belt, expectations are sky-high for First Team this season—he’s not just a scorer, but the engine driving Villanova’s success.
