Mark Soder from RBC Golf (RG26)

This week we sat down for an interview with Mark Soder, Director of Brand Marketing at RBC. Mark brings a different perspective to the show, offering some insight into the business side of the industry. He has built a career working in sports with an impressive resume that includes positions with the Cleveland Browns, San Diego Chargers, NFL league office, CFL and now, working on RBC’s golf initiatives. A large part of Mark’s job includes the working with the PGA Tour in organizing the RBC Canadian Open and the RBC Heritage, as well as working with the roster of brand ambassadors who wear the RBC patch. We also discuss a great initiative, the RBC PGA Scramble Presented by the Lincoln Motor Company. The event is a national scramble tournament open to anyone with a registered handicap. Competitors can register at their local course and ultimately compete to qualify for the national championship held at Cabot Links Golf Resort.
