For the last decade, her particular focus has been on porphyry copper-gold and epithermal gold exploration in NSW, leading exploration activities at Northparkes’ Cu-Au mine and Sandfire Resources’ NSW projects. Most recently, Ms Owens launched her own geological consultancy, conducting strategic and exploration planning as well as project evaluation for junior explorers.Ms Owens is a qualified geologist and member of both the AusIMM and AIG.
