Sometimes the greatest threat to our lives doesn’t climb over the wall… it walks straight through the gate we leave unguarded.Proverbs 11:10–11 paints a clear picture--When the righteous thrive, whole communities rejoice. But when integrity falls, the city crumbles from within.In today's episode, I share an issue with the Great Wall of China. That wall didn’t fail in 1449 because the enemy scaled it. It failed because gatekeepers were bribed.The U.S. marketplace is seeing similar cracks — not from external pressure, but from internal compromise:• Integrity slips at times• Humility appears to be fading• Accountability sometimes is optional• Moral courage is becoming rareThe solution isn’t loud preaching.It’s living out the two commandments Jesus gave us:Love God. Love your neighbor.I’ve “Ernie-ized” it into one marketplace mission:Conduct business and add significance to others in a manner greater than expected in return.Every conversation is a gate.Every decision is a gate.Every compromise is a gate.
