It comes at you fast and quick. Through words, pictures, or video you get the gist of many stories. It is designed for today’s fast paced life. As I was preparing for our new series on the Gospel of Mark, that is what I kept thinking of, a social media news feed. The style and pace of this gospel is like that. It moves quick, fast, and gives you concise detailed information. It’s like a first century twitter feed. But to really appreciate this series, we must start with a solid understanding of why this Gospel is so important, arguably the most important of the four gospels.
