#MarkTheEvangelist(GospelOfMark) No.20- Living With Evil

from GraceLife Sarasota · host Joe Davis

Dealing with the reality of evil in this world is much like what we have been facing with COVID-19 these last few weeks. We know it’s there; we know it’s real, but honestly, we aren’t equipped to know all that’s going on around us. We can take precautions, but in the end, we aren’t powerful enough to see it all, or control it completely. This degree of uncertain reality is what causes unrest and anxiety, not just with things like COVID-19 but with evil. Then there’s another side of living with evil, when we develop a sense of familiar comfort with it. We see it manifested constantly and we become desensitized, more comfortable with its presence. It’s like how we live with many other diseases which can be deadly, as opposed to this serious COVID-19 evil. But there is a more inspiring component to this story about living with evil that brought me great comfort this week.
