#MarkTheEvangelist(GospelOfMark) No.55- Rejecting The Cornerstone

from GraceLife Sarasota · host Joe Davis

I’m so grateful for Pastor Brian Yost preaching last week—Laura and I watched, and he was incredible. These past eight months have been especially hard for GraceLife, particularly for those at high risk and for families with young kids, and Brian did a masterful job reminding us of who we are as a church. He brought us back to our foundation—our core values, our unique structure, and the biblical convictions that have shaped GraceLife from the beginning. It’s healthy to pause and evaluate our foundations, not just as a church but in our families, finances, careers, and faith. Is it possible we’ve built parts of our lives on what looks solid but is actually shifting sand? Sometimes the foundations we choose appear strong until the cracks begin to show. In today’s passage, Jesus confronts that reality head on. Through the parable of the evil farmers, He reveals what happens when people reject the true cornerstone—and why our foundation matters more than ever. This week, we’re reminded that Jesus isn’t just part of the structure; He is the structure. He’s the cornerstone everything else must rest on, and when we build our lives on anything else, collapse is inevitable.

Faith Life Church with Keith Moore (Video) Keith Moore Keith Moore is the founder and president of Moore Life Ministries and Faith Life Church of both Branson, Missouri and Sarasota, Florida. Two of the greatest emphases of Brother Moore's ministry are the importance of the written Word and the necessity of being led by the Spirit.Having traveled extensively across the US and abroad for over 30 years, Keith and his wife Phyllis minister strongly on such areas as love, faith, healing, prosperity, and honor.Their heart is to see the lost saved, the sick healed, the distressed relieved, the broken restored, and the discouraged empowered to victory. Brother Moore says, "True Christianity is not the formal, powerless thing that so many have come to know.
