Marlins Rally Wins Season Series | Miami News

The Marlins pulled off a jaw-dropping ninth-inning comeback against the Dodgers, fueled by Agustín Ramírez’s two-run homer that sealed a 6-4 thriller. After trailing 4-2, Miami stormed back with two infield singles and a game-tying double, setting up Ramírez’s heroics. Rookie Josue De Paula made his mark with a three-run blast in his second MLB game, while Dax Fulton earned the win closing out the top of the ninth. The Dodgers’ bullpen faltered, and Tanner Scott took the loss. The series win gives Miami the season sweep over the league-leading Dodgers, and fans celebrated as the Marlins honored Dontrelle Willis with a Hall of Fame induction before Sunday’s game.
